Our Positions
Religion
The Humanity Movement is religiously independent.
We do not promote or oppose any religion, spiritual tradition, or non-religious worldview. Our purpose is not to answer humanity's deepest questions of faith, but to strengthen humanity's capacity to cooperate across our differences.
We recognize that people find meaning, purpose, and moral guidance in many ways. For some, that comes through religion. For others, through philosophy, culture, science, or personal experience. The Humanity Movement respects this diversity as part of the human story.
We believe that cooperation does not require agreement on matters of faith. People with different beliefs—and those with none—can work together with mutual respect to address the challenges we all share.
We ask only that all dialogue within The Humanity Movement reflects our core principles: respect for the dignity of every person, openness to understanding, and a commitment to constructive cooperation.
The Humanity Movement does not seek to replace anyone's beliefs.
It seeks to create a space where people of every belief can work together for the common good.
Our diversity is a reality.
Our shared humanity is our foundation.
